Operating principles (informal until formal policy exists)
Section titled “Operating principles (informal until formal policy exists)”- Time off is unlimited. Norms: take it, plan it, hand off your work. Most people take ~4 weeks/yr.
- Remote-first. No mandatory hours. Meet during overlap window (TBD as team grows globally).
- Async first. Most communication should not require a meeting.
- AI tools encouraged. Use Claude / ChatGPT / Cursor / our own Sidekick — that’s the product, dogfood it.
- No surveillance. We don’t track keystrokes, screen time, or login patterns.
- Honest reviews. Annual review = 1:1 conversation, written summary, comp decision. No surprises.
